Episode #17 -- Slap Shot — tara and andrew versus the scarecrow video movie guide

(or: "Brown Hair + Glasses = Rick Moranis")

Slap Shot is a 1977 sports/comedy movie starring Paul Newman about a New England town's scrappy hockey team and their ascent from underdogs to (spoiler) champions. This is, admittedly, the plot of pretty much every sports movie ever made, but Slap Shot offers a couple of things that other sports movies can't-- Paul Newman's unbridled glee bordering on mania, and a male striptease on ice. If that's not incentive enough to get you to watch, we honestly don't know what possibly could be.
